Got my soul destroyed
Hey dudettes, Today I lost a lot of HP irl because I was told to join a meeting to help with live translating and then this lady stared at me and told me I wasn’t needed. You could tell by her voice that she meant it in a really mean way. It was such a negative vibe my body wanted to cry.
Also IDK why there are so many Russian comments. Please comment in English or French or your comment will be marked as spam. Merci et thanks!
Spooky, Creepy, and Weird

My idea for a TV Show:
Hello, my dear occultists. One of my items on my running To-Do list is to become obsessed with the occult, in a Mulder kinda way but more folky than sci-fi. As a part of this, I have been asking friends and coworkers to share their favorite conspiracy theories and cryptids. Surprisingly (or maybe not), this has been an amazing ice breaker for work trips, probably because of the extremely low stakes. This has been a really effective way of keeping up my occult obsession. 🙂
One of these conversations has resulted in theorizing a TV show called “Spooky, Creepy, and Weird”. That’ all I have so far in terms of ideas. lol
I’m not super sure if I’d want it to be a fictional show, like the X-Files or something more along the lines of real-life investigations into larger-than-life phenomena. Lowkey thats a pretty good tagline, it probably exists already. I think a non-fiction show would be overdone and tacky maybe. A fictional show could be good. Maybe it could be like Black Mirror but more folklore horror. And by that, I mean that each episode is movie-esque and the plots are seemingly unrelated until the last episode of the season.
LMK your thoughts and if you know anyone in Hollywood looking for a great show idea.

Asking for your Feedback
How should I make this blog more interactive?
Hello my lovely readers, this post is a call for feedback regarding ways I can make this website more interactive.
Do we want to have a section for topic suggestions?
Do we want to have a section for questions, kinda like an advice column?
I am going to set up google forms for both of the options that I laid out, with the links available in the sidebar of blog posts.
Please use the comments below or the new google forms if you have better ideas or if you disagree with making a Q&A column.
Stuck in Canadian Hell
Laurel Hell Under 8 inches of Snow
Every month since September I travel to Trois Rivieres, Canada for 3ish days for my job. And every month since September, I grow increasingly tired of traveling, something I used to enjoy very much. I think what makes these trips something I only look forward to being over is that I have really struggled to make friends on my team. Don’t get me wrong, I have lots of friends at work, like my officemate and carpool buddy, its just really difficult to make friends on a team that I joined mid-project. I get along swimingly with my two managers, but they are 8-15 years older than me! And I can only hangout with 30-somethings who are my bosses for so many minutes of my 106 hour trip.
Something I’ve been doing to, I guess, deal with being so lonely on this trips is being really cool-looking so people want to be my friend. And also being really funny in the full team group chat; I’ve been getting lots of laugh reactions. This blog is a good outlet I think, and also it gives me a lot of time to play video games. The biggest downside to gaming, though, is that bringing my Steam Deck is kinda a pain with trying to travel light.
Also Tinder in 3R SUCKS, especially as a lesbian. I need to find what apps the gays use in Canada because I refuse to believe there aren’t any lesbians in this city.
To Landline or not to be?

Should Meg and I get a landline phone?
House MD Season 6 features a shot of House in Wilson’s study-turned-bedroom and we see a landline phone on the bedside table. This immediately prompts my roommate and I to verbalize, for at least the second time, that we want to get a landline for our apartment. Technically, I already own a lip phone, so it would just be a matter of adding a landline to our monthly costs. If I were to bundle it with our Wi-Fi, it would only be an extra $15 on the monthly bill… I am thinking perhaps maybe! Another option would be to straight up plug a phone into the wall and see if it works. We did that with our Wi-Fi router at my first college apartment and it worked for a whole year!
I don’t really have any more to say, just putting it out there.
Losing my B-card
… Blogged for the very first time …
Hello, my loyal readers and welcome to my very first Blog Post!
As one of my New Years resolutions, I wanted to start a blog in an effort to create a lasting hobby to try and spend less time scrolling on social media. I find a lot of comfort in slightly older forms of media, like CDs, blogs, old movies. Maybe “classic” is a better phrasing than older.
Recently, I’ve been very encapsulated with literary analysis of every piece of media I come across, especially Ads. My current obsession, House MD, is on Hulu and I mute the ads. While watching the ads on mute, there is one that is so unbelievably well done.
An ad for “Hers” weight loss comes on the screen and I am immediately captivated. The colors are bright and soothing, the camera angles mimic the scrolls of social media, you can follow the whole story with no sound. It’s such an incredibly thought-out and beautifully directed Ad, it’s kinda a shame it’s an ad to push GLP-1 injections.
Anyways, here I am losing my blog-virginity to join the world on my own platform, at my own pace. Art is still art when no one sees it, but mine will go here.
